Nice small dish made with fused glass. The dish is a medium gray with a black cat paw print on it. The rim is clear and reflects the gray color beautifully. Lovely bowl for all things small. Great as ring plate or soap dish, or serving nuts or olives. Also great as home decor.
The bowl measures roughly 3 1/4 inch ( 8.5 cm) and is about 5/8th inch deep ( 2 cm)

The glass is lead free and food safe.
All my pieces are unique handmade products. I make them in my home studio.
Each piece is made with several layers of glass. The glass is then fused together in a kiln and annealed (= cooled at a low rate to ensure settling of the molecules, which in turn gives durablity and strenght to the glass). To get the desired look they may be shaped, grinded or cut and heated again to get the desired style. Each piece is individually made. With similar glass and patterns I can try to make similar designs, but there will always be differences. I love that!
Sometimes bubbles occur in the glass. This is due to tiny bits of air that are trapped between two layers of glass. Eventhough it wasn’t part of the original design, it usually enhances it. It’s as if it creates another dimension…….

Dichroic glass pieces can be difficult to photograph as the colors can change based on the light conditions, glare and depth of colors and layers. I try my best to show their true nature in the photographs using natural light or special natural spectrum light bulbs.
Also, colors might be slightly different in real life (usually way more intense and interesting), because each monitor has it’s own display settings. Please email me if you have any questions about the colors.
