Wall clock, fused dichroic glass, wave, rectangle, muted multi colored mosaic pieces

This wall clock is made with fused glass and dichroic glass. The back and both sides are solid black. The wave in the middle is made up with multiple mosaic pieces of muted color. The pieces are capped with a clear so it sparkles and around the edges the dichroic has floated to the surface for a shiny appearance.
On the back of the clock I attached a large bumper pad so the the clock is flush with the wall. This clock is a hanging wall clock.
An AA battery is needed (not incl.). The clock measures 5 " by 11.5" (12,75 by 29 cm.).

Dichroic glass pieces can be difficult to photograph as the colors can change based on the light conditions, glare and depth of colors and layers. I try my best to show their true nature in the photographs using natural light or special natural spectrum light bulbs.
Also, colors might be slightly different in real life (usually way more intense and interesting), because each monitor has it’s own display settings. Please email me if you have any questions about the colors.

All of my jewelry comes packaged in a silver foiled gift box.
The plates, bowls, coasters and other larger items will be well wrapped and packaged for their trip.
For the shipping, I use USPS, First Class Mail.
Insurance, certified or tracking, can be added (additional cost).

All my pieces are unique handmade products. I make them in my home studio.
Each piece is made with several layers of glass. The glass is then fused together in a kiln and annealed (= cooled at a low rate to ensure settling of the molecules, which in turn gives durablity and strenght to the glass). To get the desired look they may be shaped, grinded or cut and heated again to get the desired style. Each piece is individually made. With similar glass and patterns I can try to make similar designs, but there will always be differences. I love that!
Sometimes bubbles occur in the glass. This is due to tiny bits of air that are trapped between two layers of glass. Eventhough it wasn’t part of the original design, it usually enhances it. It’s as if it creates another dimension…….
All my glass is lead free and food safe.
I welcome requests and custom orders.
