Fused glass art plate, piano or keyboard, mini

When you see this plate, you can not resist to touch and play. Even though it is small, it is still a great piece of art to put where ever or just serve a handful of nuts or something.... Anywhere will be fine for this piano plate. I have left the relief of the pieces so you can feel the different keys. The size is a little under 3 by 3 inches (7,5 cm) The edges are slightly curved up. Wonderful as an art piece. Great for serving too. Sushi, appetizers.... you name it. It can be a spoon rest or a rest for chop sticks..... Functional and an art piece. Awesome!

All my pieces are unique handmade products. I make them in my home studio.
Each piece is made with several layers of glass. The glass is then fused together in a kiln and annealed (= cooled at a low rate to ensure settling of the molecules, which in turn gives durability and strength to the glass). To get the desired look they may be shaped, grinded or cut and heated again to get the desired style. Each piece is individually made. With similar glass and patterns I can try to make similar designs, but there will always be differences. I love that!

Sometimes bubbles occur in the glass. This is due to tiny bits of air that are trapped between two layers of glass. Even though it wasn’t part of the original design, it usually enhances it. It’s as if it creates another dimension…….
The plates, bowls, coasters and other larger items will be well wrapped and packaged for their trip.

For the shipping, I use USPS, First Class Mail.
Insurance, certified or tracking, can be added (additional cost).
