Blue free form fused glass pendant light

This pendant light is an absolute one of a kind creation.The uneven folds and swirls are a joy to look at. It is beautiful on or off. The overall color is blue but there is some red in it, some pale purple and some white. In between the darker blue, the glass is transparent light blue.
The outside of the lamp measures about 12 inches round and it is about 7 inches tall. (30 -17,5 cm).
I made the shade and I used a commercial electrical kit to complete the light. A bulb is not included.

Dichroic glass pieces can be difficult to photograph as the colors can change based on the light conditions, glare and depth of colors and layers. I try my best to show their true nature in the photographs using natural light or special natural spectrum light bulbs.
Also, colors might be slightly different in real life (usually way more intense and interesting), because each monitor has it’s own display settings. Please email me if you have any questions about the colors.

All of my jewelry comes packaged in a silver foiled gift box.
The plates, bowls, coasters and other larger items will be well wrapped and packaged for their trip.
For the shipping, I use USPS, First Class Mail.
Insurance, certified or tracking, can be added (additional cost).

All my pieces are unique handmade products. I make them in my home studio.
Each piece is made with several layers of glass. The glass is then fused together in a kiln and annealed (= cooled at a low rate to ensure settling of the molecules, which in turn gives durablity and strenght to the glass). To get the desired look they may be shaped, grinded or cut and heated again to get the desired style. Each piece is individually made. With similar glass and patterns I can try to make similar designs, but there will always be differences. I love that!
Sometimes bubbles occur in the glass. This is due to tiny bits of air that are trapped between two layers of glass. Eventhough it wasn’t part of the original design, it usually enhances it. It’s as if it creates another dimension…….
All my glass is lead free and food safe.
I welcome requests and custom orders.
